 Post subject: scroll abilitys

hi guys i was just thinking about all the differnet scroll abilitys and i thought of one so if you have any other ideas post them here.

this is mine:
it is a wall with semi good health. every time it is hurt it regains all of its health. you then need to use a stronger scroll to kill it. the thing is if you kill it it destroys the atacker no matter how strong it is

another quick note please dont steal the abilitys from fan art so that way people can make new fan art with the new ideas

That is far too overpowered imo. You have to have a scroll with good attack to even do anything, then when you manage to get through they're just destroyed. If someone just put 3 of these on the battlefield, then that would be a huge advantage, because you could concentrate all your attackers on the other 2 spaces.

i can see your point there but since it blows up killing the attacker you lose the scroll or it is restricted to one when you are making your deck it would also be a very rare scroll

If there's a trading system at all, then there will be clans of people gathering the powerful and rare cards and giving them to each other. I think it's just too powerful.

no but you can only have one in your deck and it costs like 5 of each recorce that chould be enough to balance it out

I like the idea, but would only work well if the health & cost were low.

Ironleaf Bamboo

    Image
      0 - 0 - 2
      2 Image

Type: Wall

At the end of each turn, Ironleaf Bamboo heals one life.
Whichever unit reduces Ironleaf Bamboo to 0 life loses 3 life.


Rarity: Uncommon

It gives you a cheap, easy way to defend early on, but isn't quite as effective in the late game.

thats a good idea and cool name for it but it would have to cost alot more since it kills the attacker if it dies

That would probably be very op unless it costed like 10 resources because it could take out any unit in the game and only moderately powerful ones could actually kill it

How would it kill the attacker? I'm confused. :|

How would it 'take out any unit in the game' with 0 attack?

Oohhhh, his original post says it kills the attacker when it dies. I seeee!

i just went back to read your edited post and i think that would fit good but maybe do 4 damage and cost 6 or 7 growth recources
it would also have some special ability so if it has that rampage thing where it always deals his full amount of damage and you attack that wall it ends your rampage but if you added that part in it would need to cost a little bit more

Well, if the damage & resources are so significantly changed, it entirely alters the intended role of the scroll. I had meant for that scroll to be used during Turns ~3-5 (early), while yours would be intended for something closer to Turns ~6-8 or so. In regards to the other ability you mention, I think it would best be suited for another scroll; otherwise, wouldn't it have three abilities?

oh yhea lol and since you said that your card would be an early card i like that idea so it will give you a chance to stack up some recources to summon units
