 Post subject: Is scavenger construct+animovore making a comeback?

with the changes to damage types, i've noticed that it's much harder to shut down (at least in the DvD matchup) since curse no longer amplifies it's self-imposed damage.

now i'm wondering what previous stuff no longer works like that.

Well, pretty much any scroll that specifies pure or magic damage falls under this category, so stuff like earthborn mystic's draw, wildling's attack buff, death cap berserk/overdrive, aoe curse + aoe spell damage, etc

Making a comeback? Has it been gone? I have played it since decay was released and have allways played it without problems

Most top decay decks use this combo, and it is quite commonly played since the 1.2.0 rebalancing update.

IMO it could need a rebalance. If one creature is destroyed adjacent to it, it becomes a Obelisk.

I think it should get +1 health (and +1 move until end of turn?) when a creature is destroyed adjacent to it.
