Blinky: Spot the Win #1

Hi everyone,

In light of the popularity of the recent 'Spot lethal' posts I decided to have a go at creating my own, my aim being to create the hardest lethal puzzle yet. I believe that I have come close.

I have made this puzzle in game for you to try, it is entitled 'Blinky: Spot the Win #1' however if you want to give it a go outside of the game then there are a couple of screenshots below but be warned, it will be tough to work out this way.

(Note that Varas has the effect of Essence Garb on it and Rot Eater has the effect of Languid on it, I didn't know how to make them enchantments and the time so had to go with effects instead).

I have also made a video on the challenge, I will be posting a video with the solution tomorrow, links to both videos are below.

To answer a couple of questions that I have had so far, yes you can sac for resources and yes you can sac for scrolls, note however that there are no scrolls in your graveyard and library so when you sac for scrolls you will just be getting any scrolls that you have played/sacced during this turn.

As far as I know there is only the 1 solution, myself and a few others have spent today testing it all out to ensure that this is so, if you do find a solution that isn't the intended way then I will make some alterations :)

Lastly, please feel free to post your solutions below but use spoiler tags when doing so, also mention how many attempts it took you, if you did it in 1 then you are either lying or a genius. Thank you and good luck.

Brilliant puzzle! It was a great joy to struggle with it, and finally I got a working solution. :ugeek:
(in like 6-7 tries)

My version here:
(There can be logically equivalent solutions, because some steps are interchangeable)
Spoiler: [show]

Thank you Blinky! :Kudos: :beers: 2 you!

I got it on the fifth try! The trickiest part was figuring out how to get the rot eater to the middle spot while keeping everything else where it needed to be. Very nice puzzle! :)

I think your solution needs 1 more resource.

At which point?

It's definitely working.
You can compare it with Blinky's solution.

There are small differences but the key is that the same number of creatures will be spawned.
 So the same amount of resources will you get with Budding Retreat.

I apologies for the missing the resource count in the description above, I'm just not precise enough. ;)

I didn't know this is playable, and tried to figure it out by just looking at the image(not reading the text either):

My 'solution' was quite different, because I assumed that the Rot Eater has multiple languids on it, that implied multiple, multiple, multiple enchantments for Varas e.g. tripple resonant sword or favored or Plating.

Please mention in the description (you do so in the video), that even the single languid is not removable, because I believed in a bug and stopped trying, until I was confirmed it is fine this way.
