From Scrolls Wiki
Enchantments are equipment-like scrolls that typically affect only one other scroll.
They can provide positive or negative effects, depending on their intended target. They can have many functions:
- Board Management - Moving a unit to new tiles or modifying Move values
- Buff - Raising the attack of a unit
- Control - Remove, Resummon, or Summon a scroll
- Countdown - Raising or lowering the Countdown of a unit
- Defense - Reducing or Preventing damage done to a unit
- Direct Damage - Directly damaging a unit and/or idols
- Healing - Raising the health of a unit and/or idols
- Resource Boost - increasing a player's resources
- Scroll Advantage - Drawing scrolls from the deck
