Test server
The test server[1] is an alternate Scrolls server on which upcoming contents may be uploaded before being released on live servers. It was created by Mojang in order to help them test new features and scrolls before making them available to all players. It mainly aims at avoiding to release scrolls that would break the game balance or market. Thus, scrolls released on the test server are often altered before going to live servers.
Accounts' stats, gold and scrolls on the test server are distinct from those on live servers. Additionally, in order to make testing easier, players get 3 copies of each scroll. However nothing is guaranteed to stay, including decks, scrolls, and the test server itself.
The test server can be accessed by anyone using the new launcher. Click More options and then Play - test server.
Current deviations from the live server
- Many scrolls have received balance changes.
- Minor changes and additions to custom matches.
- Bug fixes.
