They returned is the eighteenth of nineteen hard trials.
- Destroy three of your opponent's idols to win.
- Your opponent's units enter the board with Armor, Poison Immunity, Magic resistance and Slayer.
Furthermore, the opponent starts with six of each resource.
You've destroyed Cholt's bome in an elegant display of power. "Ha! You're a force to be reckoned with, no doubt, but that was just the beginning", she cries, and she prepares her forces for a second time, unaffected by her destroyed camp, now a mere shadow of its former self. "You'll pay for your insolence."
Even though the opponent starts with six of each resource, he's still at least two turns away from playing his first creature (see decklist). Therefore, aggressive decks that are strong in the early game are best to beat this trial. You should then, if possible, completely ignore his Champions, as they are very hard to kill with their buffs. Instead, focus on destroying three idols as quickly as possible. For an example of an aggressive Growth deck, see Blinky's YouTube deck guide.
The opponent uses a deck that includes the following scrolls:
|Easy||An insult • Pile of junk • Testing ground • Men at arms • Men at war • Men of faith • A barrage of bunnies • Death from above • Critter • Caller's Boon • Defender of the Crown • Downhill|
|Medium||Energy overload • Useless • Keystone • Maximum wolf • Feeling fragile • Kinfolk VS elder • A quickie • Single File • Marathon • Hound on the loose • King of beasts • Wings of Immunity • Metal Wall|
|Hard||Mega Ogre • Locked In • Holy grounds • On the rocks • Stormy weather • A minefield • One man's pumps... • Infamous general • Clean swipe • Unrelenting foe • Poison • Pestilence • Spikes • Shooting range • Slaying grounds • Protected area • They united • They returned • Big pointy teeth • Fair Freja • Unfair Udo • Three Arbalastiers • Damage Enigma • Voided High Guard • The Duel • Nog Pit • Staggering odds • Beast Master • The Diplomat|
