Scrolls uses a turn based system, where players will make a move each turn. The match maker will randomly select which player will play first(this includes AI opponents) and the game commences from that point on. A match with the AI will have no time limit. However, a match with other players will have a 90 second time limit. Once the 90 seconds ends, your turn will be ended and the next player's turn will begin. The end of your turn can be activated by clicking the hourglass in the bottom left corner.
The first turn will allow the player to play first, but they will not allow the player to draw. Players' that play second will be able to draw.
Advantage for playing first:
- Summon first, especially good for playing aggressively
Advantage for playing second:
- Allowed to draw
