History

Decay was the last resource to be introduced into the game and was released on August 26, 2013 as part of the 0.105 beta update.

Actually, Decay is older than that since it was already previewed in early versions of Scrolls. However, it wasn't present in the first alpha version of the game. Mojang had decided to focus on the three other resources first, and release Decay later.

Additionally, a few non-Decay scrolls were temporary removed from the game as of 0.72 version, and were later reintroduced in the Decay faction.
